2009 May 22 & 29 - Joe A. Hiking the Manitou Springs Incline
In May 2009, Joe A. and his co-worker, Jared, decided to hike the Manitou Springs Incline every Friday
morning to exercise their bodies and Joe's new Nikon D60 camera.

2009 April 18 & 19 - Cathy in New York City and the New Yankee Stadium
In April 2009, Cathy flew to Syracuse, NY to visit with our friend Lorraine, her family in Rome, NY, and to take a bus trip for a two-day
visit to New York City, which included a bus tour of the City, taking in a Broadway play, and a game at the new Yankee Stadium.

2009 February 14 - Cripple Creek Ice festival
After visiting the Colorado wolf and Wildlife center on February 14th, Cathy, Joe R., Joe A, and Jesse (Joe's friend). we drove to
Cripple Creek, Colorado to view the annual Cripple Creek Ice Festival. There were some very elaborate and fantastical sculptures in ice
displayed on Main Street.

2009 February 14 - Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center
On February 14th, Cathy, Joe R., Joe A, and Jesse (Joe's friend). took a day trip to visit the Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center
where they shelter rescued wolves, foxes and coyotes. We took a guided tour and got to view the animals close up in their
spacious enclosures.

2009 January 30 - Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Championship
On January 30th, Cathy, Joe R. and Joe A. took a day trip to visit the quaint ski town of Breckenridge, Colorado
to see the beautiful and amazing snow sculptures.

2009 January 18-20 - Joe A. in D.C. For 2009 Presidential Inauguration
On January 19-21, Joe A. visited Washington D.C. to witness the 2009 Presidential Inauguration of
Barack Obama - our first African American President. It was an historic and thrilling experience.

2008 October 17 - Joe & I Repair Our 61-inch Samsung DLP HDTV
On October 9, 2008, our 2 1/2 year old 61-inch Samsung DLP HDTV died.After determining the problem
to be a shattered color wheel, Joe and I bravely embark on the adventure of doing the removal
and replacement ourselves. See the story and slide show of our high-tech repair job.

2008 September 15-22 - Our Alaska Cruise
The excellent adventures of Cathy and Joe on our most fabulous Alaskan Cruise!
Come with us and experience Alaska and the Alaskan Inside Passage via a travelogue (on the Slide Shows Menu Page),
slide shows and videos. We will see the gorgeous Alaskan mountain and coastal scenery, quaint Gold Rush era towns,
glaciers, and some wildlife (Bald Eagles, Seagulls, and Salmon).
Includes 9 slide shows with a total of 498 pictures (including panoramics), and 8 videos.

2008 August 29-31 - The Mysterious San Luis Valley, Colorado with Joe & Jesse
Over labor Weekend, we traveled to the San Luis Valley with our son Joe and his girlfriend Jesse. The Valley is located
Southwest of Colorado Springs. We stayed at Crestone, Colorado. and attended the 19th Annual Crestone Energy and Sustainability Fair.
We would also see a Tibetan Memorial Park, visit the Shumei International Institute, and the Buddhist Stupa of Enlighenment.
We traveled to Hooper, Colorado. to visit the UFO Watch Tower. Just outside of Hooper we stopped to see the wonderment
of The Great Sand Dunes National Park.

2006 May-June - Joe A. Takes a Trip to England with a Group from UCCS
Joe A. joined a group from UCCS (University of Colorado Colorado Springs) for a trip to England.
Many people from the group contibuted pictures to build 10 groups of slide shows.
Consists of 649 pictures in 9 slide shows.

We visit the former homes of the Luciano's and Fennell's in Escondido, CA with Jimmy and Flo.

2005 August 7-15 - Utah, Idaho, and Colorado with Jimmy & Flo
We tour some very scenic parts of northeast Utah, southern Idaho and southwest Colorado with Jimmy & Flo.
You will see Bear Lake, Logan Canyon and the American West Heritage Center in Utah, then a visit to
the Oregon/California Trail Center, and scenic environs in Idaho, and then we take the Durango and Silverton
Narrow Gauge Railroad up through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
