The Luciano and Miller families, total of 8 of us, decided to take a family vacation in September of 2023 to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Driving in two cars, Amanda driving her Mom's white van with Amanda, Holt, Rosi, Amanda's mom, her brother Adam and her nephew Zack. Joe A. drove his dad, Joe R., and his mom, Cathy, in Amanda's Tesla Model Y. We met at a beautiful 4 level AirBnB that Amanda found in Teton Village just outside Jackson, WY where ALL of us stayed quite comfortably for 3 nights. While here, we would visit the wonderful Western town of Jackson, WY. A place where Amanda once lived and worked. So, we had our own personal guide. We would browse the wonderful shops, be in awe of the beautiful antler arch entrances to a lovely Park and enjoy delicious meals in the many restaurants that are available. Of course, the main attraction, Grand Teton National Park, was a wonder. Here we would view the majesty of the Teton Mountains Range of the Rockies, hike around a lake, take a boat ride on Jackson Lake, and Holt and Zack each earned Junior Ranger Badges. We would see a Moose, Elk and Buffalo. Joe R. Joe A. and Cathy would drive up to Signal Mountain Overlook to try to recreate a photo taken by Joe R. there many years ago when they were camping at Signal Mountain Campground. At the end of our stay at Grand Teton, we then drove to Yellowstone National Park where we stayed 2 nights at Canyon Village Lodge where each family had their own comfortable cabin. Yellowstone is vast, and magical with its Geysers, bubbling hot pools, canyons, waterfalls, Buffalo herds, and Elk. Joe A. recommended that the three of us return home taking the Northern route out of the Park. It was amazing! Even though we've been to Yellowstone before, and just spent another 2 days there, there are still areas of the Park we did not see. Another trip to both these National Parks is a must for us.
