Holt Takes a Fun Trip to Denver with Grammy and Grampy

Introduction

While his parents are taking a long weekend, relaxing vacation at a spa near Taos, NM, Grammy and Grampy take Holt on a fun trip to Denver for the weekend. On Saturday, we first stop to visit the Downtown Aquarium, where we meet up with our friend, Sierra, to view all the fish and have lunch at the aquarium restaurant.

On Sunday, we go to the Children's Museum, which has many hands-on activities relating to science. It was great fun for Holt - he did not want to leave, but it was an absolute madhouse packed with parents and young kids of all ages (from infant on up) and a bit stressful for Grammy and Grampy.

On our drive home, we stopped in Englewood, CO to meet up with Cathy's cousin, Jonathan, and have early dinner at his favorite Italian restaurant, Gallo's Supper Club and Bakery. The food and service were spectacular and the Italian pastries are outstanding!
