Introduction

Cathy and Joe R. try again (and succeed) for a 5-night stay (6/2 - 6/7) at the rental house in Buena Vista, Colorado. This time we are joined for 2-nights by Joe A., Amanda and Holt - our first vacation all together away from home. We all get to enjoy the hot springs at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort. After Joe A., Amanda and Holt leave, Cathy and Joe R. visit and explore the ghost town of St. Elmo, the best preserved ghost town in Colorado and take the drive to the summit of Cottonwood Pass at 12,126 feet altitude and then we visit the Buena Visit Depot Transportation Museum.
