Introduction

On this trip to Buena Vista, it is our first time staying in the 2,600 sq. ft. rental house. As you can see, the house is spacious, gorgeous and has fabulous views of the Collegiate Peaks of the Rocky Mountains. We were supposed to stay 5 nights (3/10 - 3/15), but had to leave early (3/12) after only 2 nights due to severe winter storm forecast.

We mostly stayed in the house to rest and chill, but did venture out to further explore the South Main Street section on the East end of Buena vista. It is the location of recent developments of a vacation hotel, apartments, homes and cottages, plus quaint shops and restaurants.

On our way home we stopped to see a herd of Bison, including rare White Bison with calves. We did just make it home in time to miss the severe snow storm.
