On Friday, April 26, 2019, Grammy and Grampy took Holt to Lost Island Mini Golf, at the corner of Academy Blvd and Dominion Way, just a few blocks from our house in Colorado Springs. It is a newly renovated miniature golf course with a dinosaur theme based on "Jurassic Park". They have all these fabulous, almost life-size, realistic dinosaur statues made of rubber foam, various themed displays (like a crashed car and plane), a HUGE King Kong statue, a "cave", and many waterfalls and fountains. In addition to two miniature golf courses, they have a go-kart track, several large rooms which may be rented for parties, and a nice eating area with vending snacks and self-serve soft ice cream at VERY reasonable prices. They are very family friendly and still updating and improving.

We brought Holt because of his fascination with dinosaurs in several of his favorite books that we read to him. We did not play any golf, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to let all three of us in to walk around for just $5.
