On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, Grammy and Grampy took Holt to John Venezia Community Park, at the corner of Union Blvd and Briargate Pkwy, about 4 miles from our house in Colorado Springs. It is a fabulous new community park with tennis courts, picnic pavilions, several children play areas, newly planted real trees and artificial turf, The play areas have slides, swings, fiberglass statues and jungle gyms to climb on and a whirly-round. They are surrounded by rubberized paving to prevent injuries from falls.
