On September 22, 2018, Grammy and Grampy took Holt to his first ever Native American Powwow.

This was the 9th Annual Garden of the Gods Rock Ledge Ranch Powwow, just outside Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. Over many past years Cathy and Joe have attended many powwows in various locations in Colorado Springs, plus Cody, Wyoming, Taos, New Mexico, and in the early 1970s, the Badlands in South Dakota. We have always found them to be welcoming, exciting, colorful and inspiring. We were thrilled to bring our grandson, Holt, to his very first.
