My friend Lorraine's Credit Union was organizing an overnight bus trip from Syracuse, NY to New York City, April 18th thru the 19th that included tickets to see a New York Yankees game at the brand new Yankee Stadium. I just couldn't pass up this opportunity and decided to fly to Syracuse, take this wonderful trip and visit family and friends back East.

Upon arrival in New York City, we would have the day to plan our own adventures. So, we decided to see a Broadway play, "The Jersey Boys', take a 2.5 hour bus night tour of Manhattan that also included a trip into Brooklyn, and dine in the Theatre District at the famous Carmine's Italian Restaurant.

Yankee Stadium would live up to all the hype and praise in the media. It's truly spectacular. The Great Hall, the Museum, the Field, the Grandstand, and the giant DiamondVision scoreboard would take our breath away. The Yankees would play the Cleveland Indians, and to our delight, they would win! The perfect way to end a fabulous trip!
